The Peranakan Museum

Finally got a chance to visit the peranakan museum...its a little bit more than jus wares,clothes and deco.Located at 39 Armenian Street(which is right behind the armenian church) is a little secluded.The sign on the main road on shows the national archives and philtalic museum.Did some research on the location before heading down.Though am still curious as to what the building housed intially cos it was jus but not too long ago that it was setup.
The Peranakans are early Chinese immigrants including both the Britishh Straits Settlements of Malaya and the Dutch-controlled island of Java ,who have partially adopted Malay customs ever since their early existence.
